Measuring, evaluating, understanding – digital experimental practice with Pasco in upper secondary education

Digital data acquisition opens up diverse possibilities to present experimental content in upper-level chemistry classes in an engaging, precise, and student-activating way. This training is designed for teachers of all experience levels—both with and without prior knowledge of digital data acquisition using the “Pasco” system. The focus lies on applications of digital data acquisition for both basic and advanced levels. Additionally, possible uses in W-seminars (advanced research seminars) will be discussed.

Using selected experiments from the LehrplanPLUS curriculum, participants will work in small groups to try out various experiments. Aspects such as student engagement and evaluation of measurement data will be emphasized. After the training, you will receive all theory slides and experimental instructions, including safety assessments, in digital form.
